Garlicky-Parsley Bread

So this is a favorite in my house that my boyfriend makes to keep our Italian food company, and I adore him for it.

It’s a simple recipe, but it’s got lots of flavor and texture, and it goes well with any Italian meal. Actually, it could probably go well with any meal. And it’ll only set you back about $3.

Recipe for 2 to 4:

  • 1 loaf of Italian or French bread, split in half
  • ½ to 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, minced

Mix the last three ingredients together. Spread evenly onto bread halves and bake for 10 minutes on 350 degrees then broil for 4 minutes. Check periodically.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting in.
